August Harvest Lunch - Celeriac velouté, spanner crab, sorrel & fried bread

Earthy and nutty, celeriac is about to hit its peak and through August we're using it as the hero ingredient in a velouté of spanner crab, sorrel and fried bread. We're sourcing it straight from Days Walk Farm who produce certified organic vegetables in Keilor. This soup is rich, warming and a lovely accompaniment to a glass of  2021 A. Rodda 'Smith's Vineyard Triangle Block' Chardonnay.

This lunch addition is only available from Monday to Friday in August.

Our Producers

Our relationships with local producers and suppliers is what makes Cumulus Inc. what it is, keeping us motivated and enthusiastic about the next great flavour combination or how a single, fresh ingredient can sometimes be enough.

Days Walk Farm

We’re sourcing August’s Celeriac from Days Walk Farm in Keilor Valley. Established in 2015 by former radiographer, Paul Miragliotta, Days Walk is a certified organic farm practicing regenerative farming techniques. They supply directly to our restaurant within a day of harvest, meaning their celeriac is extra crisp and nutty as it arrives in our kitchen.
