New world whisky distillery Starward make some stellar whiskies that we are proud to pour. Based in Essendon and borrowing from the past without being constrained by it, Starward harness Australian ingredients and conditions and use it to their distinct advantage. This includes Australian barley, reclaimed barrels, and our unique (and notably non-traditional) climate.
We are thrilled to be teaming up with Starward to present a four course Sunday lunch at Cumulus Up. on 14th August. Each course has been created by our chefs and is matched with a straight up whisky or cocktail created especially by Starward’s team of experts.

City Cellar Door – Saturday 6th August30th Jun, 2016
Our free wine tasting event, City Cellar Door returns on Saturday 6th August showcasing wonderful winemakers from Gippsland. Bring a group of friends, your tasting palate, and an appetite for some substantial snacks.
As always, wines will be available to take home at cellar door prices, and we will be roasting a whole suckling pig to be served in soft white rolls with coleslaw and Sriracha mayonnaise for only $10. We will also be serving freshly shucked oysters that are currently in their season’s peak.

City Cellar Door Winemakers Lunch
We celebrate the City Cellar Door series with family style lunches, with tastings from the winemakers themselves.
One Sunday 5th June we welcome we welcome David Chapman of Allies, Shashi Singh of Avani and Jayden Ong of One Block. On Saturday 22nd October, we’re joined by Dave Mackintosh of Arfion, Jayden Ong of La Maison de Ong and Matt Harrop of Silent Way.
